Family Law
Mr. Lovett represents clients in all aspects of
family law including both uncontested and contested
divorce, custody, child support, and contempt cases.
Mr. Lovett enjoys guiding client’s during one of the
most stressful times in their life and works to
minimize the financial and emotional implications a
family law case has on his clients.
Criminal Law
Mr. Lovett represents clients charged with the
commission of crimes ranging from simple traffic
matters to felonies such as possession of drugs and
sexually based offenses. As a former prosecutor, Mr.
Lovett understands the workings of the criminal
justice system and is dedicated to the defense of
those charged with crimes.
Biography
Mr. Lovett attended Wake Forest University where he
received his B.A. in Political Science before
continuing his education at the University of Denver
College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor.
He draws on his extensive experience as a former
Assistant District Attorney assigned to domestic
violence cases in both his criminal and family law
practice. After serving as an Assistant District
Attorney for three years, Mr. Lovett worked for one
of the largest firms in the south dedicated
exclusively to family law issues before he joined
Perrotta, Cahn & Prieto.
