Practice Areas
Estate Planning & Asset Protection
Mr. Goode has
represented beneficiaries in estates involving tens
of millions of dollars but has also represented
small business and individuals in their estate
planning needs. Mr. Goode has given back to the
community in the form of a pro-bono will clinic for
the elderly poor and has received recognition from
the bar association for his efforts.
Probate
Mr. Goode has litigated
virtually every possible estate and guardianship/conservatorship
petition in a probate court, including the probate
of wills, guardianship/conservatorships, year's
support, etc. and has prepared many caveats. He
helped represent an estate that involved one of the
largest land sales in Paulding County history, has
served as the court appointed attorney on both
estates and guardianships/conservatorships. Mr.
Goode has helped other attorneys in personal injury
and other cases complete the necessary probate work to pursue their cases.
Business Law
Mr. Goode has helped
organize insurance agencies, manufacturers,
restaurants, doctor's offices, and a variety of
other businesses.
International Law
Mr. Goode has
represented several companies involved in
international trade with major United States
retailers and has represented international
companies with issues in the United States,
including the setup of foreign representative
offices.
Taxation
Mr. Goode aids
accountants and other tax professionals in order to
ensure that the best planning has been done for each
business.
Commercial Leasing
Mr. Goode has prepared
leases for a major shopping mall REIT and has also
reviewed leases for businesses ranging from sushi
restaurants to professional offices.
Biography
Mr. Goode is the
managing shareholder of the firm. He represents
large and small businesses in a variety of
transactions and also does both the planning and
probate for estates and conservatorships. He
received the designations of Certified Wealth
Preservation Planner and Asset Protection Planner
from the Wealth Preservation Institute in 2006. He frequently gives lectures to various
businesses and professional associations in such
diverse areas as asset protection trusts and Chinese
trade.
