Practice Areas
Personal Injury / Wrongful Death
Mr. Lamb represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants
cases in which negligence results in death, personal
injury and property damage. These include cases
involving automobile and tractor-trailer collisions.
Mr. Lamb also represents Plaintiffs and Defendants
in cases resulting in injuries occurring on
commercial premises, and involving injuries
resulting from defective products.
Medical Malpractice/Nursing Home Litigation
Mr. Lamb represents those who have been injured, or
whose family members have suffered and died as a
result of improper care and treatment by doctors,
nurses and other health care providers. This
specifically includes cases in which the elderly or
disabled have sustained serious injury or have died
as a result of the negligence of care givers in the
nursing home setting. Many of these cases involve
patient’s suffering or death caused by falls,
dehydration and malnutrition, and pressure ulcers.
Insurance Defense
During his career, Mr. Lamb has represented a
significant number of insurers in both first and
third party actions. Representative clients have
been State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company,
Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company,
Southern General Insurance Company, Deep South
Surplus, Scottsdale Insurance Company, AIG, CGU and
a number of other insurers.
Corporate and Commercial Defense Litigation
Throughout his career, Mr. Lamb has represented and
continues to represent businesses in the pursuit and
defense of all types of claims which result in
litigation. Mr. Lamb has represented businesses
extensively in the defense of personal injury
actions involving motor vehicle accidents, injuries
on business premises and injuries resulting from
products alleged to be defective. He has represented
businesses in collections actions, cases alleging
breach of contract and alleging breach of express
and implied warranties. Mr. Lamb also represents
businesses in the defense of employee claims
including those arising under Title VII of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964, the ADA, the ADEA, the PDA, FMLA
and ERISA. Finally, Mr. Lamb represents employers in
worker’s compensation claims.
Governmental Liability
Mr. Lamb represents both citizens and governmental
entities in a number of types of disputes. These
include cases arising under 42 USCA §1983 involving
violation of constitutional rights such as police
and jailor misconduct, discrimination in government
employment and harm to children in the school
setting. Cases also include those arising under
Title IX involving equal educational opportunities.
Finally, Mr. Lamb represents citizens who have had
their property rights taken by governmental entities
through condemnation.
Employment Discrimination
Mr. Lamb represents employees who have suffered
discrimination by their employers in the work
setting on the basis of their race, gender and
religion. He also represents employees who have
suffered adverse employment actions on the basis of
their age, disability, or as the result of
pregnancy. Finally, Mr. Lamb represents those who
have suffered adverse employment decisions due to
exercising their rights under the Family and Medical
Leave Act.
Workers' Compensation
Mr. Lamb handles serious claims on behalf of workers
who have sustained injuries or death arising in the
course and scope of their employment duties.
RICO
Mr. Lamb represents individuals and businesses that
have suffered financial or commercial loss resulting
from a pattern of wrongful conduct by persons who
are associated with governmental entities,
businesses or other organizations.
Biography
Mr. Lamb was born in January of 1963 in Miami
Florida. He has been a resident of the State of
Georgia since 1972. He has a number of personal
interests including historic preservation and
historic home restoration. He is an avid jogger. He
also enjoys a small home music studio. Mr. Lamb
teaches seminars on a number of topics, primarily on
employment and insurance law.
