Travis J. Little is a member
of the firm's Civil Litigation section. Mr. Little's
practice focuses on the representation of
individuals and families in serious personal injury
and wrongful death matters. He has represented
plaintiffs in motor vehicle injury cases throughout
Georgia. He has experience litigating cases of
nursing home neglect under the federal long-term
care regulations, 42 C.F.R. 483.1 et seq and
Georgia's Bill of Rights for Residents of Long Term
Care Facilities, O.C.G.A. 31-8-100 et seq.
Biography
Mr. Little was raised in
Lexington, Kentucky, where he grew up playing ice
hockey. While in high school, he was chosen to
attend the USA Hockey Select Development Camp for
his region, part of USA Hockey's National Team
Development Program. In college, he was a four-year
starter on the Brigham Young University Men’s Ice
Hockey team.
After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy
from BYU-Provo, he secured his law degree from the
University of Kentucky. During law school, Mr.
Little was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and
was recognized by a number of organizations for his
commitment to pro-bono service.
As a young man, Mr. Little spent two years as a
missionary in Santiago, Chile, where he became
fluent in Spanish. Immediately prior to joining
Perrotta, Cahn, & Prieto, PC, Mr. Little was with
the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern
District of Kentucky, working on criminal appeals in
the federal courts. Prior to that, Mr. Little's work
involved civil, criminal, and immigration law
matters in Kentucky and Los Angeles, California.
Currently, Mr. Little is an active member of the
American Association for Justice, the Georgia Trial
Lawyers Association, and the J. Reuben Clark Law
Society. He is a member of the AAJ’s Nursing Home
Litigation Group, and sits on the Editorial Board
for The Verdict magazine. |
